Dubai's Only Dedicated Search Engine Launched!

New Website to Position Dubai as Leading International Destination for Business and Leisure

Dubai: 18 September 2006 - HMS Arabia today launched - www.thedubaiguide.com - a comprehensive information resource dedicated solely to promoting Dubai to business and leisure travellers, as well as UAE residents.

Providing an instant 'snapshot' of information and contact details, the primary objective of the website is to serve as a web portal for Dubai-based companies. It also provides instant links to Dubai-related international websites, and e-portals of Dubai and UAE government departments.

Launching the new website, Salah A. Al Bayzer, General Manager, HMS Arabia said: "Dubai is evolving so rapidly that the only reliable communication tool for sourcing up-to-the-minute information is the internet. Leveraging its tremendous potential, thedubaiguide.com will promote and showcase Dubai as the ultimate destination for business and leisure, comparable to any leading international city such as New York, Paris or London."

The free to access web site will allow users to search by category, name, events' calendar or keyword. An interactive searchable location map of Dubai is currently under development and will soon be an added feature. A 'call back' facility will allow browsers to request a telephone call with the portal's member companies.

Halima Ali Noor Awaleh, Manager, thedubaiguide.com said: "Member companies will have the provision to provide real-time information on their products and services. The idea is to give confidence and a sense of familiarity about Dubai to the international traveler."

As part of the service, all advertising and content of member companies is custom designed, written and managed to enhance its branding, thus creating seamless integration with individual marketing strategies, current advertising and promotions.

Currently available in English, thedubaiguide.com will soon be available in Arabic.

Sections of the website will also be published annually to meet the specific demands of tourists as well as the international meeting, incentive, conferences and exhibition (MICE) market.
